We are going to have fun and spend the day with our families and horses.
Regarding Passengers without and horse or sleigh to ride on: Everyone is welcome as long as there is room on a sleigh (this depends on many variables such as the condition of the horses, amount of room, confidence of the driver....) This also means we cannot guarantee a spot on a sleigh to anyone as there are to many variables and no one is getting paid to have their horses and equipment there. Last year there was lots of room but who knows what this year will bring.
We will not be doing the event without insurance this year. If you will be in charge of or are an owner of a horse(s) in the Rally you have an AEF membership. Contact the Alberta Equestrian Federation (AEF) for information becoming a member and their included Insurance ($35.00 a person $85.00 a family) to protect yourself and others.

Courage Canada Trail Ride
May 2010
Day trip around the Innisfree area
Fund Raiser for Northern Alberta Brain Injury Society
This is an event that has been going for about 4 years now; the brain child and effort of survivor, Curtis Anderson, who was injured in a rodeo accident. He is originally from the Innisfree area and his parents still farm there. The ride has taken various forms depending on what Curtis, family and friends decide to do. This year, they are planning on a day trip around the Innisfree area for riders and people who don’t ride or don’t have a horse can ride on a 15 person wagon that some friends provide. We start out in the morning, stop in a field for a bag lunch, ride around some more and then head back to a community hall for supper and a dance. At least that is what happened last year and it was great fun. There were probably 80 people in attendance; not all rode during the day.
